Yash Renwa LinkedIn

Hi, I’m Yash Renwa.

I’m a Product & AI Architect. I work directly with founders and clients to turn business problems into products people actually use.

I now bring the same approach to AI, building agents and RAG systems around how a business actually runs.

Yash Renwa

I build products from the problem up.

For more than three years, I’ve worked between founders, clients and engineers. Much of the job is translation: turning what a business needs into a plan engineers can build, and turning technical trade-offs back into business terms.

The problem

  1. 1

    Understand how they operate

Before any design, I sit with the people who do the work and map how it runs today, including the steps nobody writes down.

  2. 2

    Shape the solution

I decide what the product should do and what it should leave to people. With AI, that includes which actions need a person to approve them.

  3. 3

    Explain the trade-offs

I explain the choices in business terms: cost, speed, risk and what it takes to support. Founders and clients make the call with the full picture.

  4. 4

    Lead the rollout

I lead the build and the launch, help the people who will use it get started, and turn their feedback into the next release.

  • Proposed and built IRA, an AI agent that lets community admins, mostly volunteers with day jobs, run tasks across 35 platform modules from one chat prompt.
  • Designed it as a team of specialist agents that plan, act, check and review, with user approval on critical actions, code-enforced permissions, audit logs and checkpoint recovery.
  • Cut execution time by ~65% compared with working through the interface, in internal trials across 15–20 workflows.
  • Built and deployed a RAG chatbot for a professional association. It works as a sales assistant for website visitors and a support desk for members, answering from the client’s own content.

  • Gathered requirements from the founder and space operators for Qubico, one platform for bookings, billing, memberships and grievances.
  • Led four engineers to build and launch it. Two coworking spaces adopted it, with 2,500+ members.
  • Designed and built credit-based meeting-room booking with company approvals, which stopped unchecked employee bookings. Cancellations refund credits automatically.
  • Designed live floor-plan booking and owned the mobile experience. Coworking clients draw their layout, and members pick a desk in real time, with holds that prevent double booking.

Ebani Advertising / Ebani Tech

Founding Engineer & Product Lead

Apr 2023 – Sep 2024

  • Architected TrimX, an in-salon kiosk built to bring customers back: face login, games that earn bill discounts, and upsells moved from stylists to the screen. It was linked to billing, inventory, CRM and a stylist app.
  • Took it live across 35 salons, with 15,000–20,000 visits a month. I ran site surveys with the founder, placed screens facing the street, and managed every kiosk remotely through MDM software.
  • Compared multiple suppliers for the kiosk touchscreens and helped stakeholders finalise the purchase, prioritising faster warranty, maintenance and repairs.
  • Helped launch Ebani’s digital-signage business, sourcing displays and setting up remote content management for 30+ screens at retail clients.
  • Shipped the Coromandel event app in one week with one freelance developer: personalised itineraries, QR check-in and check-out, and absence alerts for ~1,000 attendees abroad.

Upwork

Independent Mobile & Product Developer, part-time

Apr 2021 – Jul 2023

  • Completed 20 contracts with a 4.96/5 average client rating, owning client conversations from brief to delivery.
  • A coffee van’s ordering app: built the customer app and admin panel solo from the founder’s idea, with card payments, order tracking and refunds. Launched on iOS and Android.
  • Elia, a European edtech startup: led two developers to build vocabulary exercises in Flutter, working with the founders, UI/UX designers and the backend team.
  • A warehouse app: mapped the client’s existing workflows into user flows and screens.

SEBI compliance agent

Personal project · Python, LlamaIndex, Qdrant, FastAPI

  • Built an AI agent that answers compliance questions from SEBI’s master circulars, so users get the relevant rule without searching the documents by hand.
  • Split the circulars along their own structure (part, chapter, section) and used GPT-4o vision to read complex PDF pages, so each answer comes from the right rule.
  • Combined keyword and semantic search with reranking, and gave the agent tools for regulation search, web search and calculations, served through FastAPI.
  • Reached 95% context precision and 73% recall on 150 test questions, scored with RAGAS using an LLM as the judge.
